Special Information Event: The Psychodrama Certification Process: What You
Need to Know and Do
Sunday, September 18, 2016 - 2:00-4:00 p.m.
Becoming a certified psychodramatist may be one of the most fulfilling and
exciting undertakings of your professional life. Because of the intense
commitment of time, energy and financial resources, pursuing certification
is not a decision to take lightly. For anyone considering certification and
for those already committed to the process, it is important to understand
what is required and to have practical methods and tools to track and
document your progress.
Join Catherine D. Nugent, LCPC, TEP, for a free, informative workshop where
you will learn about the requirements for becoming a Board-certified
psychodramatist.
You will leave with a clearer understanding of the required hours of
psychodrama training and supervised clinical experience, as well as
information about the written and onsite examinations. With this
information, you will be able to make wise choices about whether or not to
pursue the Certified Practitioner credential. And, if you are already
committed to the journey, you will leave the session with a clearer
understanding of efficient and effective ways to move forward with meeting
the requirements.
Following the session, everyone who participates (and anyone else who asks
for it) will receive spread sheets that can be used to track progress toward
the training and clinical practicum requirements.
To this event, Cathy brings her insight as an elected member of the American
Board of Examiners in Psychodrama, Sociometry & Group Psychotherapy since
2014. Her 20+ years' experience as a government administrator has also
prepared her to support you in the record-keeping you need to be successful
in your path toward certification.
Come and join us for an afternoon of information-sharing, networking and
light refreshments with other psychodramatists-in-training and others
contemplating that role.
RSVP: If you plan to attend, please email Cathy at cathynugent at verizon.net
